Wisconsin Wildflower Area

We recently completed a little project at the turnaround from 6 green to 7 tees.  I am sure that you have noticed that we sprayed round up on the grass there.  We had some member recommendations that we should plant some flowers at this location.  We agreed that this would add some nice color and provide something very interesting to look at while you wait too tee off.  I planted true Wisconsin native prairie seed mixture today in the turnaround and added a small rock boulder around the circle.  In this mix there are 4 different varieties of native grasses and at least 20 different types of perennial wildflowers.  Including Black Eyed Susan, Once fully established this should be quite eye catching.

Have a great weekend and I hope that you can enjoy the great weather
