Us Womens Open

The open at Oakmont is underway with some very interesting weather.  The superintendent there believes in some of the same maintenance practices that we implement here.

I am linking some the video from the USGA website with a story on the fact that they vented and also topdressed all the greens at Oakmont 6 days before the open

I will be vent or needletining the greens starting Monday this week and also will apply a very light topdressing

Here is our first flower from the new wildflower garden between 6 and 7. Today we are hand weeding the garden and now you can really see the beautiful flowers that we will have here. What a nice area this is going to be
