Near the end of day 5  more then half of the planking has been installed, and the rest of the poles will be in.  We will be setting the elevation for the remander of the planks tonight.  Work will continue this weekend, by Tuesday most of the construction will be competed

After only 3 days. The planks are going in. The elevation of the wall height can now be seen.   Going to look so good

#17 Wall Update

The wall in front of the green on 17 is moving along.  The Bruce Co has brought in a subcontractor from North Carolina to build the wall.  This company travels all around the the country building walls and bridges.  The wall is basically a free standing wall which will be backfilled with stone and then soil.  The main component of the wall  are these 16 foot long telephone poles that are driven into the soil.  The goal is to have the poles embedded put to 7 feet below grade in order to support the system.  From there planks will be attached to the poles.  I will continue to post updates daily or at least some pictures of the progress.
