Even with the mild temperatures we have to start working on  equipment repair.  Mike our equipment manager is currently working on the walking mowers.  We have 15 total walking reel mowers that are completely taken apart; bearings and performance aspects are checked over to make sure everything is in prefect shape. Then the parts are cleaned, polished and repainted by Armando.  Mike will then put everything back together check the machine to make sure it is square and then grind the reel.   At this point the greens mower will be ready for spring time.  Each greens mower takes a good day in a half to complete.  Which equals about 22 days just working on the walkers.
