I would like to thank all the members for your kind words over the last few days during this nasty stretch of weather. The greens staff is doing a great job in keeping the golf course very playable. It is important that we hand water throughout the day and your understanding that we have to do this in play is also appreciated. I have noticed many members helping out filling divots in fairways and repairing ballmarks. We are devoting a lot of time watering trees and the golf course, filling divots is not a high on the list right now.
Please also get the word out about the bunker rake placement to everyone this seems to be the one thing that is a big problem this year for some reason. Over the weekend, we had to replace most of the rakes in all the bunkers which takes time away from rolling greens and even hand watering.
