Late fall at it's finest

We sure are having a wonderful weather, this is fall golf at it's finest. We have just completed mowing the greens today, this is the latest that I have very mowed the greens in years. The last few weeks of October the ground temperature was very low, I was rolling and topdressing the greens. Over the last week, I noticed some additional growth and we really needed to get out and cut the greens. With the great weather forecast ahead we will be able to keep the greens in great shape for you.

The reconstruction of the boulder wall on 15 has been completed. We do have to repair the sod along the green and wall and this will be done as soon as we can. The warm weather will set us back a little because we will be shifting gears to maintaining the golf course for you. The end result of the work is very dramatic

I will also be putting off the closure of the restrooms on the golf course until next Tuesday.
