This has been a very good year so far the Blue birds nesting on the golf course. So far most of the 10 nesting boxes have had at least one nest and now the blue birds are on the second nesting for the year.
For the last 11 years, Gary Gaard has set up the blue bird nesting boxes. Gary will maintain them throughout the nesting period. He has written many articles on proper nesting locations and blue bird health. Gary has published some of his work well as some additional research while he was with the UW He has many locations around Dane County with home owners and Golf Courses. Over the last 11 year our site has fledged 100s of blue birds and has always been a very productive site.
